The position requires an active Georgia license and involves working onsite at multiple school locations within the district. A hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) is considered, though onsite presence is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized speech therapy to students across various grade levels
- Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify student needs
- Develop, write, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collect and maintain accurate data to monitor student progress
- Collaborate with educators and support staff within the school setting
Qualifications And Experience
- Current Georgia Speech-Language Pathology license required
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working in schools, particularly with elementary through high school populations
- Strong skills in assessment, therapy implementation, and documentation
- Ability to manage caseload effectively and adapt in a dynamic educational environment
