This contract opportunity offers a rewarding role providing speech and language services to elementary, middle, and high school students. The position requires an active Georgia license and involves working onsite at multiple school locations within the district. A hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) is considered, though onsite presence is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized speech therapy to students across various grade levels
- Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify student needs
- Develop, write, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collect and maintain accurate data to monitor student progress
- Collaborate with educators and support staff within the school setting
Qualifications And Experience
- Current Georgia Speech-Language Pathology license required
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working in schools, particularly with elementary through high school populations
- Strong skills in assessment, therapy implementation, and documentation
- Ability to manage caseload effectively and adapt in a dynamic educational environment
